"Yesterday, the production company MEDIACREST released "El Cazador", its first game show on television, which was very well received by viewers. The show, presented by Ion Aramendi has Erundino Alonso as the Chaser, achieved a 7.4% share and 774,000 average viewers. This increased the figure for this slot in February in TVE (6.9% from Monday to Friday, to day 7) by half a point.

The minute by minute of the first episode of "El Cazador" is increasing, arriving at the most seen minute at 19:57, the time of the final chase with The Avenger Erundino in front of the contestant. In that moment, "El Cazador" reached a 9% share and an audience of on average 1,015,000, achieving more leads (1,849,000) than those who accessed the channel during that period (almost 1.7 million), and they remain in the majority (almost 42%).

According to Olga Florez, executive producer of "El Cazador", and Head of Game Shows at Mediacrest, the key to the success of the program’s premiere is that "we have taken emotion and made a contest out of it." In this way, "the viewer identifies with the contestant quickly and that’s a virtue you don't see in other contests."
