Mediacrest kicks off 2022 with more talent and experience joining its ranks in the form of Gustavo Ferrada, a producer with a long history in the Spanish film industry. From 1 January, the producer of titles such as “Klaus”, “Box 507” or “Nobody Knows Anybody” joins as the fiction department’s Executive Director, working shoulder to shoulder with Alberto Macías and Carlos Molinero, on the creative side, and Winnie D. Ferrada is going into his new position “filled with enthusiasm and excited to be forming part of an extraordinary team which, I have no doubt, will be producing some really great projects. At Mediacrest, people are talented, committed and have a clear vision of what they want to do in the coming years and how they want to do it. I’m looking forward to adding my experience and everything I’ve learned over the years to a project enjoying rapid and steady growth”. In reference to the team he’ll be heading as executive director, he asserts that “the fiction department is a brilliant combination of experience, with the likes of Alberto Macías and Carlos Molinero, and new talents that have already proved their professional potential.”
