In its continuing commitment to expand internationally through the production and acquisition of new formats, Mediacrest has hired María Rojo as Head of Acquisitions. 

With 18 years of experience in the audiovisual sector in production companies such as Mandarina and Big Bang Media, María is an expert in the development and sale of entertainment formats as well as handling international negotiation and operations in television markets around the world (MIPTV, MIPCOM, NATPE).

Having co-developed the internationally successful format, 'My Mom Cooks Better than Yours,' María has also held various positions and produced entertainment programs such as 'El buscador' on Telecinco, '7 días sin ellas' on RTVE and 'Ultimate Beastmaster' for Netflix; as well as documentaries such as 'Natascha, caso abierto' and 'Elena Francis.'

Mediacrest has just wrapped production on drama series 'Internal Affairs' for RTVE and is currently broadcasting its 13th season of 'El Cazador,' afternoons on TVE. In addition, the production company’s upcoming projects include a documentary series, two feature films, a drama series and a prime-time format, among others.
