Mediacrest continues to grow with the incorporation of David Llanes

Llanes will be the new head of international content focused on strengthening the production company’s Entertainment department.

Since its foundation, Mediacrest has always focused on bringing in talented professionals with long years of experience in the audiovisual sector. Hence, David Llanes’ arrival at the production company as head of international content, lending fresh strength to the creation, adaptation and development of unscripted formats, so that we can continue to bring the best products from around the world to Spain and export Mediacrest products beyond our borders. With 17 years of experience in the audiovisual sector, working for companies like El Terrat (The Mediapro Studio) or La Fábrica de la Tele, Llanes defines himself as being passionate about television and audiovisual content. He has an excellent track record for detecting unscripted trends and adapting and developing formats for channels and platforms, notably including ‘Necesito ayuda (True Selfie)’ (ETB2), ‘Tresors amb història/National Treasures’ (À Punt), ‘Tabús (Taboo)’ (TV3) or ‘Entre ovejas (Sheep & Celebrities)’ (TVE). He also previously worked on the show ‘La caja/(The Box)’ (Telecinco) and ‘Hazlo tú mismo/Do it yourself’ (Cuatro). David Llanes asserts that what Mediacrest is proposing is “extremely attractive, offering endless possibilities at an exciting time for the sector. After more than 13 years at El Terrat I feel it is the ideal moment for a change and I’m thrilled to be working with such an incredible team, creating products focused on local audiences, but based around innovative global concepts.” Llanes joins the company’s recent incorporations of Raquel Pérez, Amalio Rodríguez and Tania Maroto in its Entertainment department, led by Daniel Domenjó, alongside Hugo Tomás, which is firmly committed to creating and developing new formats.
