Hugo Tomás joins Mediacrest

The Director who's worked on programs like Master Chef will be in charge of New Formats, Factual and Reality.

MEDIACREST faces 2020 by strengthening the production company's team with new faces and fresh talent to face the new challenges and opportunities that will arise in the year to come.


Hugo Tomás is the first new recruit of the year. He joins Mediacrest as the Head of Factual, Reality and New Formats, reinforcing the entertainment area. With more than 20 years of experience in television as a Director and Scriptwriter, Hugo Tomás has directed very successful programs such as "Masterchef", "Maestros de la costura", "Supervivientes. Perdidos en Honduras" and "Adivina quién viene a cenar", among others. 


Faced with this new challenge in his professional life, Hugo Tomás asserts that he feels "very lucky" to be part of the Mediacrest team, which, he says, "is a young production company, full of talent and with an exceptional work philosophy. I have joined with enthusiasm and with the desire to live up to an extraordinary company".


Oriol Rodríguez Artola also joins the production company directed by Daniel Domenjó as a Developer and Format Writer, after working in content creation for DLO/Magnolia, and previously as a Scriptwriter and Programme Coordinator.


REINFORCEMENT IN BIG DATA and BRANDED CONTENT

Mediacrest has also upgraded in the area of Big Data, one of the company’s fundamental pillars, by bringing Fran Mora on Board. Fran Mora has more than a decade of professional development in Integrated Marketing Consultancy for media and television as well as online Audience Analysis. 


Simultaneously, Juan Carlos de la Hoz joins the Business Development and Branded Content Department to promote content that is increasingly in demand. In recent years, De la Hoz has developed content for leading companies and television stations in Spain.
