Mediacrest continues to expand its team with top class, renowned professionals. The latest member of the squad is Pablo Barrera, a screenwriter and director with over 20 years of experience in the sector, who will take over the production company’s Fiction department.

Pablo Barrera has been the screenwriter and creator of series that have marked an era, like “Compañeros”, “Mis adorables vecinos”, “Fuera de control” or “Countdown”. He was also the director, screenwriter and executive producer of the successful mini-series “Una bala para el Rey”.

This year, Pablo Barrera has been the screenwriter for “La sala” and creator and coordinator of one of today’s most highly rated series, “Brigada Costa del Sol”.

Barrera has begun work on five fiction projects with a team of collaborators including Alberto Macías, screenwriter of “Servir y proteger”, “Cuéntame cómo pasó” and “Las aventuras del capitán Alatriste” among others.
